In 2003, while in Chile, I came across an Argentine balloon decoration magazine. This discovery motivated me to seek a more comprehensive and professional education in the field. I ended up spending a month in Argentina, dedicated to intensive study day and night.

During this time, I had the privilege of meeting Maricel and Victor Hugo Merigo from Globarte Argentina, who generously shared their valuable insights on succeeding in the balloon industry. This marked the turning point in my fascination with this thriving field.

I also connected with Itamar Silva of Pioneer Balloon Company, known for the Qualatex brand in Latin America. Through our collaboration and efforts from others in the industry, Qualatex made its way to Chile. Simultaneously, I pursued a degree in Gastronomic Business Administration, which allowed me to support myself while developing my skills in balloon decorations. This period marked the beginning of my journey towards excellence, a path I continue to follow today.
